Find A Therapist Near You
At the Psychology Today website you can find a plethora of information related to Mental Health. This is great, but can also be understandingly overwhelming for some. Here we are simply giving you the resource to find your own therapist, virtual therapist, support group, or psychiatrist.
What if I don’t have time to go to therapy? Can I call or FaceTime a therapist? YES!
“Making professional therapy accessible, affordable, and convenient — so anyone who struggles with life’s challenges can get help, anytime and anywhere” (BetterHelp Website).

Is it possible to find a culturally sensitive therapist? Absolutely!
“AYANA therapy – a user-friendly app that enables matching marginalized communities with compatible licensed therapists based on their unique experiences and identities across race, gender identity, class, sexuality, ethnicity, and ability (text, call and video call).” – (Ayana Therapy Website)
I still do not feel comfortable talking to a therapist, even if it is over the phone. Can I text someone instead? YOU BET!
Never fear my millennial and Gen Z friends (myself included) there is an app for that! Talkspace – where instead of talking on the phone with a therapist, you simply text them when you are feeling down! Cool, right?
